Salad Surprise
Salad Surprise is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 (1 lb.) can gooseberries, sweetened (2 c.), 2 (3 oz.) pkg. lemon gelatin, 1/2 c. sugar, 2 c. orange juice and 2 c. celery, chopped, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Drain gooseberries reserving syrup.
Add water to syrup to make 1 3/4 cups.
Heat 1 cup syrup mixture to boil.
Add gelatin and sugar.
Stir to dissolve.
Add remaining syrup mixture and orange juice.
Chill until partially set.
Stir in berries, celery and nuts.
