Combine sugar and Bisquick until free of lumps.
Make hole in center of dry mixture.
Pour in oil, eggs and pecans.
Stir until mixed well.
Bake in greased 9 x 13-inch pan for 45 minutes (no longer) at 350Β°.
Add 1 cup coconut, if desired.
