Rye Treats
Rye Treats is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. sausage, 1 lb. velveeta cheese, 1 tsp. worcestershire sauce, 2 loaves party rye pepperidge farm and 1 tsp. basil, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
Brown sausage and ground chuck together.
Pour off excess grease.
Melt Velveeta cheese; pour cheese into meat pan.
Add oregano, Worcestershire sauce, salt, basil, parsley and garlic salt.
Toast bread on one side under broiler; spoon mixture on toasted side of bread.
Leave on cookie sheets to freeze; transfer to airtight freezer containers.
Take out amount needed for each occasion.
Bake at 350Β° for 10 minutes.
Makes 48 treats.
