Rum Balls
Rum Balls is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 6 oz. pkg. chocolate chips, 3 tbsp. white corn syrup, 1/2 c. rum, 2 1/2 c. finely crushed vanilla wafer crumbs and 1/2 c. powdered sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Melt chocolate chips in double boiler over hot water.
Add corn syrup and rum.
Combine crushed vanilla wafer crumbs, powdered sugar and chopped pecans.
Add to the chocolate mix and mix well.
Cover and let stand for 30 minutes.
Make 1-inch balls. Roll in granulated sugar.
Place in tight container to "ripen" for 3 to 4 days.
Be sure to keep tightly covered.
