Rum Balls
Rum Balls is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. (6 oz. pkg.) semi-sweet chocolate pieces, 1/2 c. sugar, 1/4 c. water, 3 tbsp. light corn syrup and 1 tsp. watkins rum extract, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.
In saucepan, melt chocolate pieces over low heat.
Remove from heat.
Stir in sugar, water, corn syrup, rum extract, butterscotch flavoring and vanilla extract.
Fold in vanilla wafers and nuts.
Shape mixture into 1-inch balls using 2 teaspoons of mixture for each.
Roll in additional sugar.
Store in an airtight container and refrigerate.
Makes about 4 dozen.
