Roulade
Roulade is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 8 pieces round steak, cut 1/4-inch thick, sliced dill pickle spears, 1 c. minced onion, 2 strips bacon, cut into pieces and 4 strips bacon, cut in half, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.
Pound meat between wax paper into 6 x 8-inch rectangles.
With short side toward you, lay one pickle spear and spread 1 heaping teaspoon of onion and a piece of bacon about 1-inch from the end. Carefully roll steak around the filling, folding edges toward the center.
Wrap 1/2 slice bacon around bundle.
Secure with toothpicks.
