Romaine-Broccoli Salad
Romaine-Broccoli Salad is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. walnuts, chopped, 1 pkg. original flavor ramen noodles, 1/2 stick unsalted butter, 1 c. salad oil and 1 c. sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
Break up Ramen noodles while still in the package.
Discard flavor packet.
Saute walnuts and noodles in butter until brown. Cool on paper towels.
Make dressing from oil, sugar, vinegar, soy sauce, salt and pepper.
Mix well.
Toss together broccoli, lettuce, green onions, and walnut-noodle combination.
Pour dressing over and serve.
Serves about 15 to 18.
