Roasted Chicken
Roasted Chicken is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 whole chicken, 1 c. fresh herbs (parsley, oregano and rosemary), 1 can chicken broth, 1/2 c. white cooking wine and 1 stick butter, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
Preheat oven to 375Β°. Wash chicken.
Rub 1/2 stick of butter over chicken.
Cut up fresh herbs and butter.
Place inside cavity of chicken.
Pour 1/4 cup of white cooking wine and 1/2 can of chicken broth inside cavity of chicken.
Pour remaining can of chicken broth and 1/4 cup of white cooking wine over chicken.
Sprinkle salt, pepper and paprika over chicken.
Place in baking pan.
Bake for 1 1/2 hours.
Remove from oven and let rest for 5 minutes before cutting.
