Risotta Milanese
Risotta Milanese is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 lb. italian sausage, 3 tbsp. butter or margarine, 1 onion, chopped, 1/2 c. fresh mushrooms, sliced and 1 clove garlic, crushed, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Remove sausage from casing and crumble.
In large skillet, melt butter.
Add sausage, onion, mushrooms and garlic.
Saute until tender, about 5 minutes.
Stir in rice and saute until rice is lightly browned.
Add chicken broth, wine or sherry.
Cover and simmer 20 minutes or until rice is tender.
