Rice Salad
Rice Salad is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 c. boiling water, sprinkle of salt, 1/2 tsp. margarine, 1/2 c. sugar and 1 (15 to 20 oz.) can crushed pineapple, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
π¨βπ³ Instructions
Combine water, rice, salt and margarine in a saucepan. Cover and cook until rice is tender.
Do not drain!
Add jello and sugar to hot rice and stir to dissolve. Mix in pineapple and let cool in refrigerator.
Begins to set up, fold
Cool Whip.
Let finish setting several hours or overnight.
Serves 12 to 15.
