Rice Pilaf
Rice Pilaf is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/3 pkg. egg noodles (any size), 1 tbsp. crisco or oil, 1 c. rice, 2 1/2 c. chicken broth or bouillon and 1 stick butter or margarine, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Brown the egg noodles in the Crisco in a heavy-gauge saucepan over low heat.
Add the rice, chicken broth and butter.
Bring to a boil.
Stir until butter is melted.
Turn heat to low.
Cover with a lid.
Cook about 20 minutes or until rice is tender.
Add salt as needed.
