Rice Pilaf
Rice Pilaf is an easy dinner. Made with 1 c. uncooked regular or processed rice, 1 medium onion, minced, 2/3 c. water, 2 tbsp. margarine and 1 can condensed consomme, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Saute onion in margarine until golden.
Dilute consomme with water, bring to a boil.
Combine all ingredients in 1 1/2-quart casserole (greased).
Bake covered 30 minutes or until rice feels tender and all the liquid is absorbed in a moderate oven.
Uncover at once.
Sprinkle with toasted slivered almonds.
