Rice Pilaf
Rice Pilaf is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 stick margarine or butter, 1 handful fine egg noodles, crushed in hand, 1 c. regular rice (not instant), 1 can campbell's beef consomme (add water to = 2 c.) and 1 medium onion, diced, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Melt margarine; add crushed egg noodles and brown lightly. Add two cups mixture of beef consomme and water and bring to a boil.
Add rice; cover and simmer about 10 minutes.
Add the chopped vegetables and pimento; cover and simmer another 15 to 20 minutes.
Stir occasionally to prevent sticking.
