Rice Pilaf
Rice Pilaf is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 sticks real butter, 1 medium onion, chopped, 1 tsp. whole oregano, 1 tsp. salt and 2 c. dry rice, uncooked, wash and drain, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Melt butter and add chopped onion, oregano, salt and rice. Stir all the ingredients listed and simmer 10 minutes (can use iron skillet or Teflon).
Turn into large casserole and add beef consomme and water.
Add drained mushrooms; bake, covered at 400Β° for 1 hour.
