Rice Pie
Rice Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 lb. ricotta cheese, 1 c. milk, 1/2 lb. rice, 4 to 5 eggs and 1/2 lb. sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
π¨βπ³ Instructions
Boil rice with salt until cooked, then strain.
Add 1/2 cup sugar and grated orange and lemon skins and cool.
Break eggs in bowl.
Add 1/2 cup sugar, cinnamon, allspice and Anisette; beat together.
Strain Ricotta cheese, then add milk.
Mix all ingredients.
Add orange and lemon juice and Anisette.
Bake at 400Β° for 1 hour.
Grease well around cake pan.
