Rice Krispie Rolls
Rice Krispie Rolls is an moderately easy dessert you can prepare in about 2 hours 10 minutes. Made with c. self-rising flour, c. vegetable shortening, to 2/3 c. milk, margarine and c. rice krispies, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.
Crush Rice Krispies and set aside.
Melt margarine, set aside. Mix flour, shortening, milk and pour out on floured dough board.
Roll out thickness of about 1/2 inch.
Cut with 2 1/2-inch biscuit cutter, then take knife and cut in half. Put Rice
Krispies in plastic bag, dip biscuit halves in margarine, drop in bag and shake well.
Put these on a cookie sheet and bake
(preheat oven) for 10 to 20 minutes.
