Rice Delight
Rice Delight is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. butter, melted, 1 small onion, diced (optional), 1 (10 1/2 oz.) can bouillon soup (undiluted), 1 (4 1/2 oz.) can sliced mushrooms and 1 (8 oz.) can water chestnuts, sliced (optional), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Saute onions in butter.
Drain mushrooms and water chestnuts, reserving the liquid.
Add water to make 1 1/4 cups of liquid.
Add mushrooms, water chestnuts, liquids and rice to soup mixture.
Pour into a lightly oiled baking dish.
Cover and bake at 350Β° for 50 minutes.
Yields 6 to 8 servings.
