Rice Balls
Rice Balls is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 lb. rice, cooked until sticky the night before, 1 small onion, 1 1/2 lb. ground beef, 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen peas and 1/2 c. spaghetti sauce, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.
Filling
Brown ground beef and onion (drain grease if necessary) and add sauce.
Add peas and simmer until peas are tender.
Cool to lukewarm.
Mix rice, cheese, 4 eggs and 1 1/2 cups spaghetti sauce.
Using 1/2 cup rice mix, form a cup in your hand; fill with 2 tablespoons meat filling.
Add more rice mixture, forming a ball.
