Rice and Peaches
Rice And Peaches is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. uncooked rice, 1 (16 oz.) can freestone sliced peaches, 1/3 c. brown sugar, 2 tbsp. margarine and 1 tsp. lemon juice, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Cook rice as on package; drain peaches and reserve 1/2 cup of the liquid and 12 peach slices.
Drain remaining peaches.
Mix drained peaches, sugar, lemon juice, margarine and spices into hot cooked rice.
Mix well; simmer for 5 minutes.
Pour into buttered 1 1/2-quart casserole.
Pour whipped topping over rice.
Arrange peach slices on top and bake at 450Β° for 15 minutes.
