Sift flour and cream of tartar 3 times.
Beat all together. Divide into 3 parts, leaving 2 layers white.
To third part, add molasses.
Add cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg and raisins.
Bake at 350Β° for 30 to 35 minutes or until done.
