Rhubarb Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 c. rhubarb, 1 c. sugar, 1 tbsp. butter, 1 egg and 1 c. sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Place rhubarb in 9 x 13-inch greased pan.
Cover with sugar and butter.
Cream egg, sugar and shortening.
Add flour, baking powder and milk.
Pour over fruit.
Bake at 350Β° for 40 to 50 minutes.
Any kind of fruit may be used but adjust sugar on fruit accordingly.
