Reuben Roll
Reuben Roll is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 lb. ground beef, 1 c. chopped onion, 1 tbsp. worcestershire sauce, 1 1/2 c. swiss cheese or mozzarella, shredded and 1/2 c. creamy russian dressing, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Combine beef, onion, Worcestershire, Russian dressing, salt, egg, pepper and Russian dressing.
Mix well.
Roll out jelly roll fashion.
In 1/2 of beef mixture add a layer of cheese and layer of sauerkraut.
Place the other 1/2 of beef mixture over cheese and kraut.
Best to roll on foil, then lift the foil to place beef over the filling.
Bake at 350° for 45 minutes, 1/2 time reduce to 300°. Do not overbake.
