Roll thin chocolate wafers with a rolling pin to make crumbs. Cream the butter; add crumbs and sugar; blend thoroughly.
Cover crumbs with ice cream, packing down well.
Press remaining crumbs firmly on top.
Garnish with whipped cream.
Return to refrigerator to freeze.
