Refrigerator Rolls
Refrigerator Rolls is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 pkg. yeast, 1/2 c. warm water, 1/2 c. shortening, 1/2 c. sugar and 1 egg, beaten, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.
Dissolve yeast in 1/2 cup water.
Cream shortening and sugar; add beaten egg, water, salt and yeast last.
Add flour and mix well, making dough. Put in a gallon Ziploc bag with 2 tablespoons corn oil.
Seal and put into the refrigerator.
Keeps one week. Take out amount you want and make rolls 2 to 3 hours before time to bake.
Bake at 450Β° for 20 minutes or until done.
