Dissolve yeast in 1/2 cup of water.

Combine sugar, egg, milk and 1 cup water.

Add salt and flour.

Knead several times.

Put in bowl; brush with Crisco.

Cover tightly and put in refrigerator until it doubles in bulk.

Punch down and let rise 10 minutes. Make in rolls and let rise 2 1/2 hours or until double in bulk. Preheat oven.

Bake at 425Β° until done.
