Refrigerator Rolls is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 qt. sweet milk, 1 c. sugar, 1 c. shortening, 1 quick acting yeast and 1/4 c. lukewarm water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Scald milk with sugar and shortening.

Then add the yeast which has been dissolved thoroughly in 1/4 cup warm water.

Add 8 cups flour, mixing well.

Let rise until doubled in bulk.

Add salt, baking powder and soda.

Add enough flour, about 1 cup to make a soft dough.

Place in a bowl and grease top of dough. Cover.

Place in refrigerator.

Makes rolls as wanted, also can be used for doughnuts.

Will keep for a week, in refrigerator and makes 4 dozen.
