Mix together hot water, sugar, salt and margarine.

Cool to lukewarm.

Measure warm water into large warm bowl.

Sprinkle or crumble in yeast.

Stir until dissolved.

Stir in lukewarm water mixture, egg and half the flour; beat until smooth.

Stir in enough remaining flour to make soft dough.

Turn out onto lightly floured board and knead until smooth and elastic, about 10 minutes.

Place dough in greased bowl, turning to grease top. Cover tightly with waxed paper.

Store in refrigerator until double in bulk, or until needed.

To use, punch down and cut off amount needed.

Shape as desired.

Let rise 1 hour.

Bake at 400Β° for about 15 to 20 minutes.
