Refrigerator Pickles
Refrigerator Pickles is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 6 medium to large cucumbers, 2 tbsp. salt, 3 c. white vinegar (not heinz), 2 c. sugar and 1/2 tsp. turmeric, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Slice unpeeled cucumbers approximately 1/4-inch thick into rectangular pan.
Sprinkle with salt; mix and let stand at room temperature for 1 1/2 hours.
Place in colander and rinse with cold water; drain well.
Mix remaining ingredients together.
Pack cucumbers into large jars.
Pour vinegar mixture over.
Cover and store in refrigerator for at least 2 weeks before eating. Delicious!
