Refrigerator Dessert
Refrigerator Dessert is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 c. finely ground graham cracker crumbs, 1/2 c. margarine, 2 small pkg. instant vanilla pudding, 2 c. milk and 1 qt. vanilla ice cream, thawed to room temperature, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
Mix cracker crumbs and margarine and put 2/3 of it in a 9 x 13-inch pan.
Mix pudding with only 2 cups milk in a large bowl. Add ice cream.
Pour this mixture over crumbs and refrigerate. When set, put Cool Whip over the top.
Sprinkle remaining crumbs over top.
Decorate with maraschino cherries if you wish.
