Mix Crisco, sugar, eggs and vanilla together.
Measure flour with soda and salt.
Stir in with sugar and Crisco.
Form into roll 2-inches across; wrap in waxed paper.
Chill until firm.

Slice 1/8-inch thick.
Place on ungreased cookie sheet; bake 8 to 10 minutes at 400°.
