Red Velvet Cake

Cream butter, sugar and eggs.
Add food coloring and cocoa. Mix salt and vanilla with buttermilk; add to creamed mixture alternating with flour.
Mix soda and vinegar and fold in; do not beat.
Pour into two greased and floured 9-inch round cake pans. Bake at 350Β° for 30 minutes.
