Red Velvet Cake
Red Velvet Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. margarine, 2 eggs, 1 1/2 c. sugar, 2 oz. red food coloring and 2 tbsp. cocoa, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Use 3 small or 2 large pans.
Cream together margarine, eggs, sugar and red food coloring.
Sift together cocoa, flour, salt and cinnamon.
Have buttermilk and vanilla ready.
Mix all ingredients, alternating 3 mixtures, until all are used and mixture is smooth and velvety.
Stir in vinegar and soda.
Pour into prepared pans.
Bake at 350Β° for 25 minutes and test for doneness.
Cake is bright red.
