Red Enchiladas
Red Enchiladas is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. hamburger, 1 large onion, chopped, 1 lb. cheddar cheese, shredded, 2 cans tomato sauce and 1/4 to 1/2 c. flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
Save 1/2 onion.
Use large skillet.
Brown hamburger with 1/2 onion; drain grease.
Mix flour with hamburger.
Add tomato sauce and 3 to 4 cans water.
Season with chili powder, salt and pepper to taste.
Place tortillas in sauce; let soften for a minute or so. Place tortilla in plate with a little sauce.
Add lettuce, onion and cheese.
Make another layer if desired.
Serve immediately.
