Cream shortening and sugar until light and fluffy.
At a time.
Sift together flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt.
Mix milk with vanilla and food coloring. to creamed mixture alternately with dry ingredients.
Stir in and vinegar. Bake in 9-inch layer cake pans at 350Β° for 30 minutes.
