Red Cabbage
Red Cabbage is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 medium red cabbage, 2 tbsp. vinegar, 1 lb. bacon, 1/4 c. brown sugar and 2 tbsp. flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Shred cabbage; put in pan with salted water to cover and 2 tablespoons vinegar.
Heat to boiling; cover and cook until tender. Drain.
Fry bacon until crisp; drain, keeping bacon grease in pan. Add to it brown sugar, flour, water, 1/4 cup vinegar, salt, pepper and onion.
Cook, stirring frequently, until thick.
Add sauce and diced bacon to cabbage.
Stir and heat through.
