Reception Salad
Reception Salad is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. celery, 1 c. chopped nuts, 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened, 1 (12 oz.) can milk (undiluted) and 1 large can crushed pineapple, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Drain the pineapple and reserve the juice.
Heat the juice to boiling and dissolve jello in it.
(Be sure jello is completely dissolved.)
Add the cream cheese while mixture is still hot and stir until the mixture is smooth.
Stir in the rest of the ingredients and pour into a dish or mold.
Chill until firm.
