Really Good Cabbage is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 small head cabbage (4 to 5 c.), finely chopped, 1 egg, beaten, 1/4 c. cider vinegar, 1 tbsp. melted butter and 1 tsp. each: salt and sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Cook (or steam) cabbage about 5 minutes until tender, but crisp.
Blend egg, vinegar, butter, sugar, salt and pepper.
Cook over low heat, until thick, about 3 minutes, stirring constantly. Cool slightly.
