"Real Trooper Cupcakes"
"Real Trooper Cupcakes" is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. shortening, 1 c. sugar, 1 egg, 1 1/3 c. flour and 1/4 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.

Cream shortening and sugar; add egg and beat well.
Add flour, sifted with salt, baking powder, soda and cocoa, alternately with milk and vanilla.
Add coffee.
Fill greased (or paper lined) cupcake pans 2/3 full.
Bake at 375Β° for 20 minutes.
These are very light, moist and rich brown and a delicious treat.
Makes 1 1/2 dozen.
