*Ravani 2 is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 lb. sweet butter, 6 large eggs, separated, 1 c. sugar, 1/2 c. milk (warm) and 1 c. cream of wheat (quick type), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Cream the butter and sugar. Add egg yolks and vanilla.
Beat thoroughly.
Mix flour and farina and add, alternating with the milk.
In a separate bowl, beat the egg whites until stiff and fold into the batter.
Pour into a greased 9 x 11-inch pan. Bake at 350Β° for 45 minutes. Cool slightly.
Pour room temperature syrup all over the cake, using only 2 2/3 cups syrup. Garnish with 1/2 cherry on the Ravani.
Cut into squares or diamonds.
