Raspberry Bar
Raspberry Bar is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. oleo, 1 c. brown sugar, packed, 1 1/2 c. flour, 1/2 tsp. baking soda and 1/2 tsp. almond extract, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Beat oleo with sugar until well blended.
Add combined flour and baking soda; mix well.
Blend in almond extract.
Stir in oats.
Spread mixture into bottom of greased baking dish (13 x 9-inch); spread with preserves to within 1/2 inch of outer edge of pan.
Sprinkle with almonds.
Bake at 375Β° for 22 to 25 minutes. Cool and cut into bars.
Makes about 20 bars.
