Raisin Pie
Raisin Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. cooked raisins, 1 large lump butter, 1 tsp. vanilla, 1 c. sugar and 2 heaping tbsp. flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Put raisins in a small pan and cover with water.
Let boil slow for 20 minutes.
Remove from heat and add butter and vanilla. Mix sugar and flour together; then add to other mixture, adding buttermilk last.
Pour into unbaked pie crust.
Bake at 400° for 40 minutes.
Needs to cook slow so you may want to reduce heat to 350°.
