Raisin Pie
Raisin Pie is an moderately easy dessert you can prepare in about 1 hour. Made with c. cooked raisins, large lump butter, . vanilla, c. sugar and heaping tbsp. flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
Put raisins in a small pan and cover with water.
Let boil slow for 20 minutes.
Remove from heat and add butter and vanilla. Mix sugar and flour together; then add to other mixture, adding buttermilk last.
Pour into unbaked pie crust.
Bake at 400° for 40 minutes.
Needs to cook slow so you may want to reduce heat to 350°.
