Raisin Cake
Raisin Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. raisins, 1 tsp. baking soda, 2 c. sugar, 1/2 c. lard and butter, mixed and 1 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Pour 2 cups boiling water over raisins and boil 15 minutes. Take from stove and let cool, then add 1 cup cold water.
Add remaining ingredients, raisins and water.
Mix well.
Grease cake pan and pour mixture into pan.
Bake at 350Β° until toothpick inserted in middle comes out clean.
