Raisin Cake
Raisin Cake is an impressive dinner. Made with 1 (15 oz.) box raisins, cooked and drained, 2/3 c. butter or margarine, 1 1/3 c. sugar, pinch of salt and 2 eggs, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Preheat oven to 350Β°. Cream butter and sugar; add eggs and beat.
Add raisins, spices and vanilla; mix.
Add buttermilk, soda and flour; mix well.
Add little flour at a time to make a medium stiff batter.
Bake 50 minutes.
