Raised Bow Ties
Raised Bow Ties is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 8 eggs, 1 c. butter, melted, 1 1/2 c. sugar, 1 large yeast cake, melted with 1/4 c. warm water and 1 lemon, juice and rind, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
Beat eggs until creamy.
Add butter, sugar, yeast mixture and flour.
Cover and let raise for about 1 1/2 hours until doubled. Place dough on floured board and make the knots.
If sticking, add a little more flour.
Put on greased cookie sheet and let them raise again.
Bake at 375Β° for 10 minutes.
Frost with powdered sugar and lemon flavoring while warm.
