Rainbow Cake
Rainbow Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 white cake mix, 1 small strawberry flavor jell-o, 1 c. boiling water, 1/2 c. cold water and 2 c. cool whip, thawed, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Prepare cake mix as directed on package, baking in well-greased and floured 9 x 13 inch pan.
Cool cake in pan for 15 minutes; prick with utility fork at 1/2 inch intervals. Meanwhile, dissolve gelatin in boiling water.
Add cold water and carefully pour over warm cake.
Chill 3-4 hours.
Top with whipped topping.
Cut into squares and garnish with strawberries.
