Ragalach
Ragalach is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. margarine, softened, 1/4 tsp. salt, 2 c. sifted flour, 1/2 c. granulated sugar and 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.
Day ahead, mix margarine, cheese and salt until creamy.
Mix in flour. Shape into 14 balls.
Chill overnight.
Heat oven to 350Β°.
On lightly floured cloth covered board, roll each ball to 6-inch circle.
Cut each into quarters.
Mix nuts, sugar and cinnamon. Drop rounded teaspoonfuls onto each quarter.
Pinch together edges of dough. Form into crescents.
Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for 12 minutes or until light brown.
