Quickie Doughnuts
Quickie Doughnuts is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 4 c. biscuit mix, 1/2 c. sugar, 2/3 c. milk, 2 tsp. vanilla and 2 eggs, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
Heat deep fat to 375Β°.
Mix all ingredients in large bowl. Beat vigorously 25 to 30 strokes.
Turn dough onto floured counter and knead about 10 times.
Roll out about 3/8-inch thick.
Cut with floured doughnut cutter and place in hot fat.
Fry until golden brown, one or two minutes per side.
Remove from fat and drain on absorbent paper.
Sprinkle with powdered sugar, cinnamon and sugar or glaze with a thin chocolate icing.
Store in a large canister.
