Melt butter in saucepan.
Add brown sugar.
Cook over low heat 2 minutes, stirring.
Add milk, stirring until boiling.
Remove; cool.
Gradually add confectioners sugar until mixture is of fudge consistency.

Spread in 8-inch square pan.
Chill.
Cut into squares.
