Quick Tomato Sauce
Quick Tomato Sauce is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 cloves garlic, 1/4 c. olive oil, 2 large cans tomato purée or whole tomatoes, pureed (italian brand), 6 oz. tomato paste and 1 c. water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.
Saute garlic in oil in a large saucepan.
Add remaining ingredients; stir.
Heat on low until thoroughly blended.
Cook double batches and freeze unused sauce in pint or quart containers.
When needed, defrost, heat and serve.
Before serving, add cooked meatballs, hamburg or Italian sausage, if desired, or serve separately.
